No on/off button

After installing 2AAA batteries discovered the button just operates the LED light which is surprisingly bright for a small one. There was no on/off button but the stand by time is over a year (according to the instructions) so may not be an issue. When close to an alternating current it makes a load beep and lights up like a Christmas tree. Really useful gadget! Thanks

Metal Drive Cog Shaft with free grease and shims - GTECH AirRam Mk1 spare part

It works!

My neighbour gave me her old Gtech as it was broken. After overcoming the battery not charging issue I noticed the brushes weren’t spinning. Installed the new metal drive cog after cleaning and greasing. Didn’t need the washers as the gear housing wasn’t damaged. I was particularly impressed how quickly it stops when the brushes get jammed. Must save the drive from damage. I’m confident it’s a permanent fix but it’s loader than our Dyson but extracts loads more dust and hairs. Not bad for a free one! Thanks

Does what it says on the tin!

Didn't watch it myself but Mrs A loved them. She was a bit bimused at first that the Discs were double sided but she soon got the hang of taking one disk out and flipping it over before putting it back again. I suppose it made our Christmas in a funny sort of way; She was content just to eat chocolates and watch Dallas and I didn't get nagged. RESULT!
