Much lighter & thinner than the old ballast.

Much lighter, thinner & supposedly more efficient than the magnetic ballast it replaced. The fixture needed to be rewired to accommodate it.

Good while it lasted.

A good UPS that can be used as a stand alone AC power source.

Got ~29 minutes lighting a 100W bulb with the new internal Interstate SLA battery after it was fully charged. You can cold start this CP1000AVRLCD UPS without it being plugged in first just by turning it on so beware you don't drain the battery inadvertently. This feature is good if you want to use it as a stand alone AC power source.
