Simple to use, but not so simple to connect to your tripod
1 of 1 found this helpful I didn't have a chance to test the mount under the sky yet and only tested it indoor. I only bought the mount without a tripod, so I needed to make a connection between the mount and my old camera tripod that I had lying around. I used 1/4-20 stud and 1/4-20 extension nut (home depot) and a spacer (right now I use a bunch of CDs and a cardboard). The mount holds well fairly heavy camera with 500mm lens (5+ pounds total). In the long term, heavy duty construction tripod with a flat top will be a better option. 12V power bank is a must as well. Alignment is fairly easy, I use either 2 stars auto align, or manual 2/3 stars alignment. This mount for less than $70 is a good deal.

Can run hot
As with every CPU, it's a bit of lottery. Some of them run hotter than the others, and that's the case of Xeon. CPU's performance both single- and multi-thread is subpar by today's standards. Even low- to mid-range laptop CPUs from AMD beat 4th generation i7 and Xeon by a large margin. But as an upgrade to otherwise working computer with LGA1150 socket, this CPU is practically the top performer you can get, with the exception of i7-4790k.
