My Ruin - The Brutal Language
I think this album was a big step forward for My Ruin. Previous albums were confined to the style of music around at the time, namley "nu metal" The brutal language has a much more organic and raw rock feel, not just in the music but the production also. The album is jam packed full of amazing riffs and finally some solo's! Mick Murphy is definatly one of the most under rated rock/metal guitarist out there at the moment, the guy can shred with the best of them! Tarrie B is also on top form from start to finish, complimenting the brutality with her roars from hell. I have seen the band a few times now live and out of all their albums i would say the brutal language is the closest to their live sound that they get!
