Garmin 741xs is awesome
The Garmin 741xs out of the box has all the bells and whistle you need. Preloaded with bluechart G2 for exelent charting. Wifi and Bluetooth is an excellent addition usually seen on the high end models? Combine it with a decent transducer and it's a fish finding machine. Your 741xs is cheap enough so you can spend that extra cash on that transducer that you actually need to do the job not just settle for.

3 of 3 found this helpful I originally bought it for trolling striper but there not here yet. So I took it on a Tuna trip put it on a 30- 50 class rod for a pitch bait. Ole whity smacked a bait and I dropped it back on freespool. No bird nest made it nice. I hooked up thinking I had the marlin. However I had a 318 lb Big Eye Tuna. Reel held up great as he spooled me 4 times going 1500 straight down. After punishing the 30 for about an hour or so we landed the fish. So I give it a thumbs up.
