Surprisingly good fittings
1 of 1 found this helpful This set is very inexpensive so I wasn't at all surprised to find that the hose walls are quite thin - & it took some care not to get kinks in it & stop the free flow of water. I wanted a lightweight hose to feed my pressure washer so I could clean the solar panels on my roof (WARNING - DO rope yourself on securely if you decide to try doing that yourself). This was fine for the job.
What did surprise me was that the fittings didn't leak - apart from one moment when the weight of the 10-metre column of water pulled the feed out and gave me a wet foot. (My own fault - something that could easily have happened even with Gardena fittings. I solved it by draping the hose up over the apex of the roof so the effective weight was held by friction on the roof tiles, too).
The thread on the 3/4 inch tap connector was a bit tricky to get onto my brass garden tap - but the two hose 'click' connectors sealed very effectively. There even appears to be a non-return valve on one of these, to stop water washing back through the tap connector (which may be a legal requirement, I'm not sure - it's certainly good practice at least)
All in all - if you pay under £10 for a complete hose set (I didn't use the spray nozzle) including delivery you'd be foolish to expect Rolls Royce quality. This set is excellent value for money and suited my purposes brilliantly.

Secure and easy to operate
Arrived rapidly. Very simple operation. Automatically switches back to passcode-protected mode after lying idle for a short time, so pretty well fool-proof
