Humbrol spray paint
Easily the best way to paint your models. Gives a thinner coat than brushing meaning greater releif for models texture.
Be careful not to paint too early because scratches etc that have to be touched up by brush really do show badly. You'd think there was only one shade of black....wrong.

Listen, Believe, Take Actoin
2 of 2 found this helpful This a lovely piece of nostalgia for tose of us who vaguely remember the events of the 60's but did our growing up in the 70's. This is both a historical social time - capsule for the hippies of the day, and equaly relevant to those of us who discovered each other's music collections at university and spent many an evening rhapsodising about Hendrix's genius and the great (and sadly soon to be lost) feeling of optimism of the times, while getting stoned and trying to keep warm in rat - infested flats while piles of neglected coursework lay forgotten upstairs.
We didn't know then how lucky we were to have free higher education, and I don't care what your political views may be, it made for a much more eclectic mix of people, happier times, and longer friedships.
I have occasion to visit various universities from time to time, and the business - like quality in everything from events to entertainments, to coursework, to aggressive interviewing saddens me.
If I had my way I'd have Woodstock on the curriculum. The "Peace And Love" generation, though ephemeral, was extremely important in modern social history.
In the early eighties we still believed we could change policies. When we weren't getting stoned we were marching through London with placards.....Maggie Maggie Maggie Out Out Out.....Boyson Jump Boyson Jump.
Come on students of today. Put some fire in tour bellies and believe you can make a change. I believe the NSU is still the biggest union in the UK. Come on. Get organised. March on Downing street and force the authorities to listen to your demands. This is the 21st century, not Dickensian Britain.
The Woodstock phenomenon is a good place to start. And equaly of note is Live Aid in 1985 which showed the authorities that we cared even if they didn't.
So come on students, get up off your arses and try and make the world a better place as we tried to do.
Buy the Woodstock soundtrack, buy the Woodstock DVD, and start believing you can make a difference.

Beautiful, beautiful pitch perfect instrument.
As it was partly marketed as " Legend of Zelda" I was half expecting a novelty item, but for £5 I was happy to take that risk.
What I received was a truly fantastic instrument which not only is beautiful to look at and handle, but is also pitch perfect in the key of C and sublimely toned.
I have been playing wind instruments for over 40 years and this is the most fun I've ever had with something new.
The fingering takes a little getting used to but full instructions are provided.
In terms of pleasure given for cash outlay I consider this the bargain of the century.
