Tefal Essential Non-Stick 5 Pieces Cookware Saucepan Set

Decent pans ideal for everyday use
I had the same pans previously, and while they are good quality and serve their purpose more than adequately, they were ruined by a lodger who insisted on using steak knives and other cutlery instead of the appropriate plastic or wooden utensils, which ruined the non-stick.
Bought as a replacement, they are identical to the ones they replaced, without the damage noted above.
Very good for the money, would recommend.

The Beatles as they would like you to believe it happened.
This is an expansive set, featuring approximately 8 hours of the Beatles 'Anthology', covering their beginnings through to the end of the group.
All three surviving Beatles are interviewed as well as record producer George Martin, and the Beatles' 'right hand man', Neil Aspinall, who also serves as Producer.
While a fascinating documentary about the Fab Four, with plenty of information for both casual fans and Beatles fanatics, the story suffers slightly, particularly in the later episodes, by a feeling of oil being poured liberally on troubled waters. The break-up of the band and their subsequent legal squabbles, and years of animosity towards and about each other, is glossed over somewhat, leaving an impression that things ended more amicably than they actually did. This aside, the whole package is entertaining, informative and gives the nearest we are ever likely to get to a 'definitive' Beatles documentary.
Good songs too :)

Brass Eye Review
1 of 1 found this helpful This is all a matter of taste. Brass Eye was, by turn, savage, hilarious, in atrocious taste and absolutely on the money.
A satire on tabloid style sensationalism, it subsequently became the subject of the very kind of 'engineered outrage' that it satirised.
Some may find it offensive in its choice of topic(s), but it simply wouldn't have worked without being so close to the bone.
Similarly, you either feel pity for the 'celebrities' who appear, shocked and indignant, to warn the public of the menace on our streets (unaware that they're a part of a satire), or you feel annoyance at the 'usual suspects' popping up to do a public service, and boost their flagging careers in the process.
If you haven't seen this before at all, it may be worth seeking out clips online, to see if its style of humour is to your taste,
For those who remember the show, and remember enjoying it, be assured, it holds up well and has lost little of its bite, venom or humour.
