It was a very good decision.
Just what I needed for my Datsun 620. It is a direst fit, compact with high output and single wire, no need to deal with 4 wires going to/from a separate voltage regulator. It puts max output at 90 amps instead of 35.

I reccomend it.
The biggest problem with dash caps is fit. I first bought one from another manufacturer, and it was a terrible fit. It also cost more. This one fit very well, looks great and is a good value.
