Better than the original!
My original Morphy Richards lid lied because the battery terminals went rusty. This may have been my fault for cleaning in there with an antiseptic wipe - whoops!
However, this replacement is better because it stays open as long as I am using the bin - the original used to shut if I took too long, which was sometimes annoying.
It looks just as good, and fits prefectly too.

I wish I had one of these years ago - it would have saved me hours
I don't know why these haven't been around forever, as it is such a clever thing.
However, I have docked one star because (a) it doesn't fit my vacuum cleaner (a Sebo) properly and the extra piece provided is no help, so I had to do a bodge on it, and (b) some of the little tubes have got a bit bunged up with dust and need to be cleaned out, and now I need a tool to do this.
