Best bang for your buck.
At less than $50 including postage from the UK, and over 500 sold, I figured it's worth a try. Installation was easy and took less than 1/2 an hour, right from the turn of the key I was impressed, my car has been transformed. The engine pulls harder, from lower in the rev range, an annoying dull spot around 2k/rpm is gone, it's very happy to hold a higher gear. The car is very tractable and a delight to drive, and I'm hoping it's willingness to hold a higher gear at lower revs will result in lower fuel consumption.
