Pros and cons about Dell Streak
Bottom line first: It's a good purchase for 450$ as of Nov 2010 Engineering compromises come at a cost so it's a big and cumbersome phone and a too small tablet, But both devices are functioning properly in one small package. The screen is a fingerprints trap but doesn't scratch (Gorilla glass I guess)and the battery lasts only several hours with full use of Wifi, bluetooth, 3G end everything but gets reloaded in minutes via the USB 30 pin cable. Speaker is very load and good but the handset's voice had medium quality. Camera is much worst then my Nokia E72, although it's a 5M as well. Sensors are very good, GPS is quick to relocate. Bluetooth stack is vary fast ans so is touchscreen reaction time. Dell Home screen application is buggy and if you outlast the battery and the phone shuts itself, you have to reset the battery (pull it out and replace it) so you can operate the phone again. All in all minor nuisances and a pleasure to use.
