Works like a dream, put me back in control
Using this tester gave me the tools I required to put me back in control and get ahead of the game. I was faced with a head-scratching job tracing back and testing several ethernet cables in a huge bundle. Originally I was going to pull all the faulty ones but after using this tester I found that only one cable was indeed faulty and was able to do a temporary repair until could replace the faulty one. Paid for itself time and time again. Recommended

The Manufacturer made an excellent product. The refurb is non existent but it does work 100%
The item is an excellent tool and has great functinality. Before using it it is necessary to asseble a few leads and adapters at extra cost but the unit functions well and its possible to buy aftermarket remote identifiers for the device which multiply its usefulness several times. The condition when received was noted to be poor but fully fuctional. The screen was badly scuffed making reading the display a bit haphazrd in all but excellent light.

This tone generator and inductive amplifier kit is the best one ever offered by I deal Industries. They just keep getting better. Visually its two tone Grey / black color scheme is very smart and modern. Operation is smooth and straightforward and it JUST WORKS. Does everything it claims to and a bit more. Changing the battery of the tone generator is a little different but once you have worked out how it opens its very slick. The tone amplifier probe is solid,very positive and a crisp clear tone with quite a high level of volume. It would benefit from a headset jack and a quick change tip, both of which it lacks unfortunately. This has to be one the best tone and probe kit ever offered by Ideal and personally speaking it beats all the other offerings hands down.
