Suitable for normal to oily skin types
3 of 3 found this helpful This gel cream was gentle on my face and had a sort of cooling effect on it when I put it on. My skin type is extremely dry and this lotion, though very good in quality, was not creamy enough to leave my face moisturized. When I put it on, my face still ended up getting dry later in the day. I believe this product would be most effective for people with normal to oily skin types. Gel creams usually are helpful to those skin types, as they prevent oil and such from building up on the face. Yet, if you have dry skin, I do not recommend this product. I do recommend Bare Escentuals Purely Nourishing moisturizer: dry skin or Clinique's Dramatically Different moisturizer. I have tried these two products and they are the best ones I have found for combating against dry skin and leaving one's skin feeling moisturized and soft.
