Low cost upgrade
Ideally priced upgrade from an aging FX 4100, i.e. two more cores, more cache yet same speed and power usage. Came without a cooler, which wasn't obvious in the advert, although it was mentioned during the ordering process, but few people use those noisy AMD coolers anyway!

Budget Upgrade
Inexpensive upgrade from a single core Sempron processor on a budget Asrock motherboard. The CPU arrived with a small sachet of paste, so the swap-out took mere minutes. Because of the Athlon's low power requirements I was able to re-use the Sempron's cooler. Many hours of use since with no problems. Big improvement in every department. Very pleased with the product and service.
