Interesting in places...One way of explaining the workings to my kids
Excellent art, interesting concepts and explanations. But probably better suited to explaining the workings of things to teenagers and a like.

Excellent Read...I waited 6 months for this book...And it's well worth the wait!!!
I bought this for my father who was a beat copper in East Sussex. I have heard his stories and wanted to hear Gilks ones as well. You wont be disapointed, beat coppers, in those days did everything. Everything from the Brighton Bombings to Royal protection. I recommend this book to see how much one PC career took Gilk's in to so many interesting situations and places, meeting so many interesting characters. Kind Regards, Gary

An excellent comical read
Seeing as I have read one of Stephen Pile's previous Heroic Failures books and enjoy Epic Fail websites, this book certainly didn't disappoint.
