Heavy, great quality, timeless piece

Pattern looks like ice cubes so this is perfect for winter-themed parties. I think it mixes well with both vintage and modern table settings. Looks very classy on the bar! I love that it is all glass without that typical hokey "handle" that many ice buckets have. You can find a variety of coordinating tumblers and stemware from flea markets and ebay in the same pattern. It's also fun when people recognize that it is Fostoria and you start exchanging memories of grandma's old Fostoria glass! I highly recommend this piece and love the pattern for winter dinners.

"Something suddenly came up"

I saw this series in reruns when I was a kid and now my kids love it! What a stark contrast to the current movies and sitcoms kids are exposed to. At first they didn't want to watch, but I just put in the first disc and they quickly became interested. Now they ask to see it before anything else! Sure, the show was corny but there are some great lessons to be learned and some sweet moments highlighting the closeness and love among the family members. Very entertaining for all ages. Production quality is very good and the packaging, shag carpet cover with paper flower inserts to hold each disc, is really cute.

ADORABLE!!!!

Of course it isn't boy-proof or durable like a Little Tyke toy, but this type of mini isn't supposed to be. I would consider it sort of a collectable for display rather than for play. I collect all kinds of miniatures and I don't consider this one cheaply made. It is realistic and so very cute when it is set up. The scale could blend into a Barbie or 1" scale dollhouse environment for your older daughter. I was very happy with this purchase!
