Thud by Kevin Gilbert
3 of 3 found this helpful "Thud" was, sadly, to be the last record Kevin Gilbert would ever finish. It showed the depth of his songwriting and incredible musicianship, and even gave us glimpses of his later masterpiece, "The Shaming of the True". Kevin died in 1996, during the recording of "Shaming...".
To me, this cd is almost perfect. The range of the songs is amazing, from tender to bombastic, yet never losing that Kevin Gilbert "sound".
I give this cd my highest praise.

Great reverbs, not so great "shimmer" effect.
This pedal sounds great if you just use it for the reverb,
but, I bought it for the Octo "shimmer" effect alone. Sadly, it
wasn't so great in that regard. It just wasn't a good fit for me.

Truly, the ultimate guitar workout!
Make sure to do your stretching exercises, this is going to hurt! Take it a piece at a time, but, once you get it all, you'll feel an amazing sense of accomplishment.
