The camera is fine.
Sure, I would recommend this product to a friend. I haven't used this one very much and the one I used at work had a charger on it that you just plugged into the computer. It seemed to last better than this one which had AA batteries for it.

Try a different brand.
I use Runkeeper app at same time. When I go on walks, the Fitbit app is off the mark often. Lately, the app shows a completely different walk. Like 3 miles away or a walk I did last week.
This was fine until I did the updates and the continuing updates. Now I only see half the letters. They are cut off horizontally.
I've called Fitbit for help. None of their ideas changed anything for long.
This is my third Fitbit and everything was fine until you need them to fix a bug. Then you are wasting your time asking for help.

Get it cheap or take a pass
I liked these but they use too many batteries. No way is there a decent light beam at 500 lumens. They do seem durable.
It's a decent flashlight but it's not 500 lumens and battery life doesn't last long as compared to other flashlights with the same use--as a truck driver.
These are decent but you can get cheaper and lighter flashlights that don't use so much battery power. I also have 200 lumen flashlights that are brighter than this one.
