pretty good lens
The only real drawback to this lens (for me) is the fact that I am on my third one in 10 years. I used the first lens extensively for about 7 years when it suddenly stopped autofocusing. Admittedly the second one failed due to dropping it on it's head, so I will still give it 5 stars. I am not the most careful person when it comes to my equipment, so for the average person it would probably be considered durable. It actually still worked for awhile until one day the front element fell out. It doesn't have the clarity, contrast or sharpness throughout the zoom range of other Nikon lenses, but it's still the best thing ever for a compromise between quality and convenience. Most amateurs or advanced amateurs would probably love it.

Nice all-around lens
2 of 2 found this helpful I have several good prime lens' for my d300S, but this is my go-to lens for "everyday" use. It is the one that stays on my camera and is used for 75% of my shots. It has good sharpness, contrast and color, and isn't very heavy considering it's size and range.

Truly Relief in a Tube
1 of 1 found this helpful This really works well for me; much better than any CBD, Icy Hot, or other similar products. I have a nerve impingement in my arm, bad knees and frequent back pain. When I use Rub on Relief twice a day I hardly notice the stiffness! A bonus is that it has no odor and is not greasy.
