For mechanics only
Unit works well; however either the fuel hoses or the wire harness of the pump must be modified. Pigtail of the new pump is nearly 5 inches shorter than original; requires either mount pump to frame under tank or extend the pigtail. Other than that; pump is working and delivering fuel to the cars. Too soon to talk about longevity-I only just installed it 2 days ago.

OEM fit-replacing 38 year old factory install.
Judging appearance and feel only: Dimensions look like a pretty easy install when the time comes. The feel is a bit less springy than expected but the real test will be performance (and life) after install.
