Soap nuts
I have tried these soap nuts on darks which seem to do the trick, towels come out nice and soft without need for any softener. Not yet tried on whites. Ita great they can be used over and over again until a grey-ish colour (or so ive heard!) And then can be composted - even better for the environment... and with no wierd chemicals, whats not to like!? Will definatly continue to use these, and will even attempt to make my own shampoo and cleaning products!
