Good for thinner stock
2 of 2 found this helpful Assembles very quickly and ready to use. Bought it primarily to rough cut 1/4" guitar tops and it functions very well for that purposes. Tried it to rough cut 3/4" alder and it struggled; stalling out frequently. The 1/4 HP is definitely designed for thinner stock. So long as you're using it for stock under 3/4", you should be fine. I still think it's a good value, so long as you don't need for heavy duty use from it.

Fender Classic Series '70s Strat Neck
It has a great 70s classic look with the bullet truss adjust and CBS headstock. The high gloss finish is clean and flawless. The only two issues, which are not that big a deal, are 1) the fret edges were not properly dressed at the factory in Mexico, and the nut cut is not very precise. It took me about an hour to dress the frets and re-cut the nut slots.
