Good for the price.
Arrived absolutely swimming in oil in a plastic bag inside a heavy duty cardboard box which was a bit of a pain as this was purchased for indoor use to lift stuff through a loft hatch. The quality is average as expected for the price with sharp burrs around the forged hooks which needed filing off as these would cut into a rope or sling during use. Also the centre of gravity of the hoist is not inline with the hook you hang it from meaning the main unit is at a 10 degree angle (see pic), this results in the chain rubbing against the side casing and not running as freely as it should. It works, it'll do the job just not a smoothly as a more expensive unit.

Does the Job
1 of 1 found this helpful Easy flat pack assembly. Slightly to high on its lowest setting for comfortable use when in front of an armchair. I chopped the legs down and added some extra holes and now my 90 year old mum can sit in comfort eating her meals. AAA+++

Fairly good quality, may flex slightly if you overload it with heavier plates, sturdier than most in other stores.
