Excellent flatware with a few rough (or at least sharp) edges
Please note that the product received was marked "Patrick" though it appears identical to Epoch. I also took pictures of the bottom of the flatware, since websites hardly ever show that view.
It's heavy, and passes the "ice cream scoop" test. In other words, it's more than strong enough to withstand the hardest ice cream, or anything else a normal human could eat.
Also, the polish on the exposed surfaces was great. The polishing between the tines of the forks was so-so -- better than a lot you find in department stores, but still with a little roughness. (see picture)
The steel is weakly magnetic, so mostly austenite (and almost certainly the 18/10 advertised). It should last a long time.
Knife handle feels hollow and well-balanced. I much prefer a hollow handle, so I consider it a plus.
The only drawback to me was the back isn't rounded, but has a definite edge and pointy corners.(see pictures) I just didn't find it comfortable compared with it's big brother, the Median. Still, if you like a shiny, faceted style, it's not a bad choice, and seriously heavy duty for the price.

Nice feel, and shuffles well
I have to admit, I bought these because they advertised themselves as acetate (I have several decks of Kem cards and like the feel of them, and REALLY love how durable they are), and because I saw very little information about them. That part appealed to my sense of adventure.
That said, these cards look and feel smooth without being slick, which is great -- I have some PVC plastic cards that hate staying in your hand or even on a stack. They also shuffle very well -- not as stiff as a lot of plastic cards, but with good snap. They feel similar to my Kem Pantheon cards, but without the surface texture (have to stress, though, they don't feel slippery, and those Kems are post USPCC takeover -- I have older decks that are just as smooth).
Assuming they have a similar longevity (a big assumption, I admit, since I have Kem decks over 50 years old in excellent condition) these are awesome cards for the price. I am glad I got them.

One of the nicest trackballs I have tried!
Works perfectly, very smooth, and I like the scroll function. This is the perfect replacement for a mouse. Of all the trackballs I have tried, I like this, the Kensington Expert, and the Logitech Marble FX the best (and the last one is no longer available). Really nice product.
