BMW E39 Touring tailgate outdoor button.
This handle indeed fits well. The snap-on panel is easy to paint into desired color. The lamps were included in purchase, so it works plug-and-play. The offer can be improved if 4 nuts will be included.

Excellent quality, bad humidity calibration.
Good idea but badly calibrated. Thermometers are ok, they all measure correctly, but humidity measurements are way too wrong. Cannot recommend for accurate humidity measurements.
In a very dry room air they never show below 40%, and in bathroom in mist and fog of a shower they show 80% at most. Other devices give a range of 10%-20% (dry room) and 96%-99% (shower).The only way to go beyond "medium humidity" is to either cool or heat the sensor a lot.
Range of transmission is very good indeed. And it works even if sensor is on top of metal far from receiver station.
Screen is bright enough, with good contrast. Overall build quality is very good, it corresponds to high price. Menu is simple enough, system operated 2 month since delivery uninterruped without any glitch. Disconnecting the sensor does not upset the graph.
I might be a bit disappointed that sensor chip is a complicated device and cannot be easily "hacked" by extension, for example, to measure water temperature.

Fits E53, finishing quality is fair.
The good things: this repair kit indeed fits BMW X5 E53.
The bad side: one has to use file a lot to sand down metal parts. I had to remove metal burrs and whiskers that obstructed the motor from reaching its proper position. The plastic part that holds the locking ring broke after i tried to adjust it - too fragile, it's good to have spare one.
Подходит к иксу, что радует. Но пришлось все металлические детали дорабатывать напильником, снимать заусенцы и мостики литья. Скручивается саморезами, а не винтиками, как оригинал. Пластиковый паз для кольца-распорки легко сломался, как и оригинал.
