Worth every penny
5 of 6 found this helpful There is a lot of rubbish written about these amps. Phrases like "surprisingly good for the money" is a backhanded insult. It's a good amp if hooked up to good speakers. It would be a good amp if you paid $500 bucks for it.
It's not a good amp if you need multiple inputs or hdmi or surround.
It delivers through the full range of sound whether cranked or at low volume.
It does rely on tubes despite what some people will tell you that they are there for show.
I haven't even put the time into breaking in the tubes yet (50 plus hours required) and it sounds great. I have some old school soviet as well new old stock American made tubes on the way and that should make it sound even better.
