One word .... Outstanding
This is the true story of how high wire artist Philippe Pettit illegally set up a tightrope wire between the twin towers in 1974 and proceeded to spend 45 minutes walking between the towers before coming off and being arrested (though nearly all charges were dropped.) I should point out I am not a fan of circus acts though I am an admirer of the high wire particularly when it is done without a safety net. The preparations for this all had to be done in secret and he had a first class team behind him doing the planning and setting up the wire.
Pettit had a history of this before the WTC walk having done the Sydney Harbor Bridge and a large French cathedral (both illegally I think.) This predates the rather dangerous sport of base jumping and apart from being far more perilous creates a type of wonder and awe. I never quite appreciated the beauty of it all until I watched this film and the choice of music superbly complemented the achievement. After walking the WTC it was as if a part of his life was over. His relationship was his girlfriend and his manager ended and I heard they ended up together so it had a happy ending for everyone (though this is not mentioned.)
He said during the film: 'If I die, what a beautiful death, doing your passion.'
One word, outstanding.

A good load of laughs
Really enjoyed these but it helps if you have seen the tv version already.

Well made air conditioner
does the job well - a little noisy, a bit like flying in an aircraft, but all air conditioners are.
