Small and powerful unit.
This was a device that was well ahead of its time when it was release. I have used mine for the last 5-6 years. Films on the plane on the train or just when I am waiting. It has also helped aboard for the children when it is raining, as I take the Scart plug with me and plug it into the TV in the hotel room.
Another usful feature I find is to use it as a temp storage for the picture of the camera. Just hook up the Digital camera and transfer your picture to the unit. Then you can see the picture on a TV as a slide show. Fab!

Does what it says on the tin
If you want a WiFi access point that works well, then pay the extra for a Cisco Meraki device. They just work! Better than your isp devices. Simple to install. Turn off your isp WiFi and plug these devices in your router.

RJ45 Easy To Access
2 of 2 found this helpful Unlike a number of other powerline devices, this device from Netgear gives you the RJ45 socket on the top. This you may think, so what? Well you have a small advantage with this as it is much easier to plug your lead in as you can see what you are doing as most other Powerline devices have the RJ45 socket underneath. Also having the socket on the tops gives you easy view on activity on the network.
Putting the RJ45 socket to one side for a moment. The 1200 Netgear poweline has a bit punch with its 1.2Gbps which is idea for pushing media related files across the network. Full backed by Netgear high quality with their products, this device has to be a must item to pick as a Powerline for your network.
