Fine tool for most electronics tasks
Heats up quickly, easy to use by adjusting the temperature with the up/down buttons. Excellent for normal small-size soldering jobs (radio parts in my case). NOT designed for heavy-duty jobs- just doesn't put out enough heat to join thick cable, for example. Could do well with jewellery or railway modelling, I guess.

Worth the money.....
It's nice and stable , even on a medium pile carpet. LOOKS robustly made around the hinges, and I don't think it'll embarrass me the way 3 out of four of its' predecessors did by dumping a hefty female friend of mine on the floor! The padding is deeper than the old ones, too.Well worth the price, in my view.

Handybits of equipment,
easy-to-use. As expected.Using them to connect clip-hook probes to my multimeters- far easier than trying to use normal pointed ones.I just soldered them to colour-coded cables. Thanks- 73s.
