Cheap manufacturing process equals hazardous equipment.
3 of 3 found this helpful The fittings are held with cheap glue. After the second use I started hearing a hissing and the pressure gauge going down.
It was leaking from one of the joints in the manifold.
Luckily I have around many rubber seals (o-rings) of various sizes. So I disassembled the hole manifold and applied o-rings with grease to any joint/fitting. Problem solved.
While I was disassembling it I noticed something really dangerous. The fitting that connects the air tank to the manifold was wobbling left and right.
Now I cannot think of what would happen if that thing will suddenly detach with the full tank under 8 bar of pressure.
DANGEROUS
Manufacturing process really below standard. I have never seen a high pressure related piece of machinery being held together with cheap glue.
I lost 50 minutes to disassemble the manifold and applying rubber seals.
By looking at the job they have done, I wouldn't rely on their warranty also.
Very soon I will replace the tank seal too, it is quite scary when I think about it.
