A real vacuum sealer
1 of 1 found this helpful This is not the first counter top vacuum sealer I've bought - previous (cheaper) models left a lot to be desired. This machine, on the other hand, is great. I've not taken it apart but from the sound, it has a real vacuum pump, unlike cheaper machines. The ability to "seal only" is good as I use it with roll bags as well as the bags that are supplied with it. I do a lot of sous vide cooking and this is a perfect patner to the water bath set up. Very pleased with it and I hope it will last the course.

Duronic Blender
I purchased this blender after my 25 year old Philips model eventually died. I use a blender a lot for sauces, soup and purees amongst other things and I started looking for a replacement. In particular, I wanted a powerful machine and a good capacity glass jug. The Duronic meets both of these requirments and has proven to be an ideal purchase. The blender easily produces very fine sauces and soups with very little need for post blend straining - in fact the first soup that I made needed no straining - it was super smooth straight out of the blender. The machine is a good weight and doesn't bounce around and the variable speed is very useful. All in all, I think that this machine is very good value for money and I hope that it will last a good few years.

Reviewing pizza scissors
Nice little addition to the kitchen. Much better than a traditional pizza cutter.
