Strong plants
Received my 12 strawberry plants in good time and very well packaged. They are bare rooted plants, healthy with really strong roots to them. Very pleased, thank you. I look forward to see what fruits they offer.

"Rats", said the rat.......
2 of 2 found this helpful I needed a trap to catch a few rats I had around our compost heap. The ordinary snap shut and kill traps didn't work. The cunning rats we have kept clear of them. I didn't want to use poison so it was a live trap I needed.
These seemed cheap and cheerful. They come flat packed, but with a simple squaring up and a clever locking device they are ready to go. Lightweight galvanised mesh wire, they have a good set of springs to close the door. The trigger is clever - just bait the trigger and tempt Mr Rat in with something tasty. One tiny pull on the trigger and wham, the door closes. The traps arn't huge, so there isn't a lot of wriggle room in them which is a plus - the trigger needs to be pulled in the direction of the entrance, and due to size of them, this is exactly what happens when the rat grabs the bait.
These little traps worked a treat.
Obviously, this does pose the question of what to do with the rat when it is in the trap. Trapped alive, it needs to be dealt with one way or the other, but that is the only down side of trapping them alive. But these traps do work, and they work better than any of the snap shut and kill traps I have tried.
