The Five Pennies

Fabulous film starring Danny Kaye depicting the life of "Red" Nichols a famous Jazz composer and bandleader from the early 1920's through to the mid 1960's . This film will appeal to all, grab your tissues as you set off on a roller coaster of emotions that will leave you wanting more even after the film has finished. One of the highlight's of the film is Louis Armstrong's duet with Danny Kaye of the famous piece 'The Saints Go Marching'. I first watched this film as a young boy and now I am in my 40's and still enjoy watching this classic.
