Brexit mug: Independence Day, 23 June 2016

Given the nature of the mug's slogan over a Union Jack, I would have thought the item would be manufactured in the UK. Instead, the mug's base is plain, with no indication of the manufacturing country. Made in China, perhaps? If so, there hangs an indication of the UK's trading future.

Everybody should read this book

Essential reading for lovers of the English language. By listing most of today's clichés, along with explanations, it brings home how lazily we often communicate. I think we're about ready for the author to produce a second edition.
