HER BEST!
I always loved this album on vinyl. It's so great to be able to finally get it on CD.
I consider this to be one of the greatest JAZZ recordings ever, up there with JAZZ AT THE PAWNSHOP, KIND OF BLUE and TIME OUT.
Hugely dynamic and revealing nuances that only the best analog recordings can, this is a hi-fi demonstration disc, if ever there was one.
Sadly, I don't think any of Kidd's later work matched the breathtaking collaboration that resulted in this first recording on the Linn label.
The CD does not quite rival the original vinyl LP pressing which is almost impossible to find these days, but it does allow me to play the album in the car, or 'handsfree' in the kitchen.
The item arrived just as described and I am delighted with my purchase.

DNM with Eichmann Bullets / RCA Interconnects
Because of their width of jacket, DNM cables are slightly trickier to terminate than most, but worth every minute. You just have to be careful how you cut the jacket.
I've got DNM with Eichmann Bullets, everywhere now: LP, CD and iSTREAMER. All lengths are 750mm maximum.
(I can't vouch for either component without the other BTW...)
This DNM/Eichmann interconnect combo just sound better than most cables and as good as the best; and I've heard the AUDIOQUEST DIAMONDS, STRAIGHTWIRE CRESCENDOs and KIMBER HEROs, PBJ, SILVER STREAKs, NORDOST RED DAWN, and other stand-outs near this price range.
I love the DNM/Eichmann extended highs without any brightness. Other cables can sound rolled-off and dead by comparison. Low frequencies are delivered with depth, without sounding bloated or slow. Mids are warm and human - if you've got tubes, you're gonna love 'em!
DNM/Eichmann are also extremely dynamic and provide great truth of timber - even at very low listening levels. Best of all, the DNM/EICHMANN combo really allows your system to get up and boogie!
Last, I LOVE the great price of this DNM cable!
NOTE: The DNM cable is no good for Low Output Moving Coil Phono Cable however. This configuration of cable just seems to capture too much RF - a bit like an FM aerial. But don't overthink this aspect: Everywhere else in my system - even between my LEBEN Phono Preamp and my LEBEN AMP, it's as quiet as a tomb!
(I use HARMONIC TECHNOLOGY TRUTHLINK Copper interconnect, for the critical low-noise path from my SUT to Phono Preamp. In all other respects I consider the DNM/Eichmann as good sonically, but the HT cables are much more expensive and provide better shielding...)
When it comes to the DNM/Eichmann interconnect combo, just buy them and enjoy them.

SHARON ROBINSON Everybody Knows (2009) CD
We got on to SHARON ROBINSON through her work with the Late LEONARD COHEN.
Having strolled through her albums on Spotify, we think this is her best effort to date.
We adore INVISIBLE TATOO, PARTY FOR THE LONELY and other slick tracks, on this album.
No hassles with delivery or quality.
