SeaFlyer in Blue by Wickey
After reading some reviews I got worried but am pleasantly surprised and happy with our purchase. It arrived a little earlier than expected on a pallet. All accessories tucked under the slide and wrapped in plastic. Upon going through all the pieces of wood we discovered that instead of 2 pieces of one shape and two of another shape we had actually been given 3 of 1 and just 1 of the other. Luckily we had a bit of wood from another project which we just cut to size which solved our problem without to much issue.
The climbing frame comes with good instructions and does take 2 people to construct. There are no pre drilled holes or marks so you do have to measure every hole but the measurements are all in the instructions. We found this took the most amount of time. The canvas too must be measured and cut yourself and you are given some self adhesive white vinyl to cut to your own designs for decorative detail. I happen to have a machine which cuts vinyl designs for me so I could make the ship very personal. We did have to buy some extra tools, especially a large Allen key to affix the climbing wall grips. We also bought ground anchors from elsewhere due to our ground needing something a little stronger. The tower and slide are both strong and feel stable. The swing attachments are clips so you can interchange swings and ropes. We are yet to fill the sand pit but it is a good depth.
All in all we are pleased, it’s feel stable and secure and our little boy loves it so much.
