Ok pickups
A very nice set of Alnico 5 pickups for the money. They are great for clean and rock tones but not suitable for hi gain metal playing as they could get microphonic at high gain/volume settings. These can split into single coils too!

An OK all-around acoustic preamp with a built-in microphone!
1 of 1 found this helpful This is an OK all-around acoustic preamp with a built-in microphone and a pickup blend control. I actually installed this system on an older Ibanez entry level guitar that had an old ibanez/fishman system. The stock system didn't work and so the new preamp came in pretty handy. It even came with a brand new piezo pickup! The installation was hard though due to the flat top of this system. A curved preamp case would be the best for this application but still, I managed to fit it in.

A good pickup for the money
It's a very nice little humbucker but the split-coil is simply useless due to the lack of usable output. I like the fact that there are more cables though, since you can rewire it to match the phase of other pickups on your pickguard. A very nice pickup for little money. Just don't use the split coil function, it's pointless anyway.
