Effective hood for telephoto lenses.
A good generic lens hood with a 95mm filter thread on it's leading end. I like the fact that it is lined with self adhesive flock to make it non reflective - check the adhesion of this as mine had a couple of bubbles that were easily smoothed out. This is preferable to the not so matt finish of several other generic lens hoods I have bought elsewhere in the past and will not require re-painting.
I bought this to pair with a vintage 300mm lens and it has made a noticeable improvement to image contrast and prevents flare occurring in many situations - exactly why I wanted a long hood.
The threads on the mount are not as deep as they could be, giving around 1.5 full turns until secure but seem perfectly adequate; they are reasonably smooth and I have had no binding issues.

Budget price and functional
Bought to replace an XT-2 eye cup that was falling apart after 2 years of being wedged in and out of my camera bag.
It is only slightly bigger than the standard cup for the XT-2, seems constructed well and gives a little more light sealing around the eye. The silicon is marginally softer than the original (and consequently a bit more of a dust magnet) so will have to see if it holds up to the ruff treatment as long. That said, for the price it seems like a worthy and functional replacement.
It clips into place in the same manner as the original eye cup and has no exposed screws/metal parts that might mark the camera.
