The Smiths Everest is a classic reborn.
This is a classic design and is an homage to the Rolex 1016 that Smiths has executed to a very high standard. Those vintage Rolexes are now going for $10,000-$25,000+ so are in the watch-collector realm -- so not really practical for everyday use for people like me who like to keep wearing the watch while surfing and swimming. The Smiths Everest is now my everyday beater watch.

Nicely aged Tone Pro Bridge.
The aged look fits perfectly with a recently purchased used True Historic/Historic Makeover '59 Les Paul. Additionally I like the modern locking feature that the original lacks.

Classic design.
I prefer the look of this original design to the more recent design of the Gillette Sensor handle so decided to pay extra for a design that is no longer made. I wish they release this design again. There is a nostalgia factor to this because I have fond memories of the 1990's.
