Piano Bench
Solid construction at a fair price; met and exceeded my expectations.

Highly recommended BUT not always "top mountable" as described.
This trem was designed specifically with Gibsons in mind. I have two of these on two Gibsons, an SG and a Les Paul; in each case the action was crazy high and completely unusable without routing into the wood (small channel, but a channel is a channel). That is not always the case; Floyd Rose informed me that the trems will or won't require routing based on the neck angle of the specific instrument(s) you are trying to put it on. Since I didn't mind doing that on those two instruments I might rate the FRX very high *as to functionality* -easily as fun and reliable as my favorite tremolo of all time, the original Ibanez Edge, and would without question give it 5 stars ***HOWEVER*** for the issue of how it is marketed, as a TOP MOUNT system -that at least deserves an asterisk with a footnote warning us our mileage may vary. I gave it 3 stars over all, but if I was rating it for Top Mount it would get zero stars. So it's a good trem, BUT; if you absolutely need a top mount it's a roll of the dice.
