Better than onboard sound by miles.
I picked up this card second hand for a fair price. It's performance is much better than the onboard Realtek that was featured on my motherboard. No noise or interference was present. Gold plated contacts are a plus eliminating the oxidation process that happens on the cheaper soundcards. The gold plating improves signal quality, thus translating to an overall better sound experience. Overall I am happy with this product. I am a big fan of Soundblaster in general. The 116db rating is a little behind what is offered now, however it is still satisfactory, at least to my ears. Given this card was released in 2012 and that it still has product support for Windows 10, I would recommend this card to anyone interested in upgrading their older onboard audio.

Impressive sound from a very small, high quality device! Well worth the money!
This is one AMAZING little amplifier! The sound quality is beyond my expectations! The Bluetooth module works very well with no problems pairing it with my devices. I have this little amp driving some 100 Watt Sony bookshelf speakers and a 100 Watt sub woofer! It's true that the output power is 15 watts per L and R channel, and 30 Watts for the sub woofer channel, but it is actually driving all three of these speakers at acceptable levels! Sure it's not optimal for the speakers I am using, however I am very happy and satisfied with the overall output and performance! What a great little Bluetooth featured amp!

Lasted one year before the motor bearings began to fail. Not worth $150.00.
Had my two MA-25 for a year, and one is making a grinding/poping sound. The motor's bearings are failing. The other one, mid-speed LED indicator, is burned out! These units are not built to last. They are not worth $150.00. You're better off getting a second hand unit for cheap, and then throwing it in the trash for another one when it fails. Don't pay more than $60.00 for one of these, as they don't live up to the $150.00 price tag. What a disappointment.
