Can also be used for Samsung RL39WBSW
Although not a listed spare for the RL39WBSW, this item is physically the correct size and rating. I could not find a more specific spare part. All that is on offer is a whole new evaporator, with fitted defrost heater and sensors at almost £100. That of course would also mean recovering the refrigerant, cutting and brazing the pipework and regassing the unit. However, if you are experienced, careful and patient, you can use this item. The wiring also needs to be adapted which is probably the easiest part. Tip - It is much easier to make very small adjustments to match the exact shape of the old heater to your evaporator before starting to fit it. Even a couple of mm can make a lot of difference when fitting. So make sure the new heater is bent to EXACTLY the right shape by comparing to the old one after removing it. Worked first time and hasn't missed a beat, saved me £300 on a new fridge freezer...

Bring on the lightweights...
Aluminium alloy as opposed to the original cast iron, so lighter in weight. Seems wll machines. Not sure what the torque settings for bolts should be, but I was careful not to strip threads.
