HRC quality? Hmmmm....
1 of 1 found this helpful Because it comes in an HRC bag does not mean it's fit for purpose. The hose is the incorrect grade for brake fluid which sweats out through the wall of the hose, destroying paintwork and discolouring aluminium. Padgetts have admitted that this is the case but they still keep selling them and using the product themselves.
Not wanting to take sales from Padgetts (of whom I have purchased many products over the years) I would suggest looking at "Tygon" hose instead, which is of the correct specification for brake fluid and does it sweat. I have since successfully replaced the HRC hose with Tygon
This review does not reflect the despatch time, which was excellent, but Padgetts are shrugging off the issue with the hose. I'm quite disappointed.
