Grammophone recordings available featuring Avi Avital on Lute. This CD collection was purchased as a 'taster'
and has not disappointed.

A comprehensive biography of Franco, his life and times in Spanish history.
An amazing work of scholarship by Paul Preston, the biography covers the life and times of Franco during the turbulent years of Spain through the 20th century.
Detailing his rise to power, his role in the terrible Civil War and the details of his political survival throughout his life, the book makes compelling reading. It gives a clear overview of all that happened in Spain and Franco's
relations with the Axis powers and those of the Allies during the Second World War.
Added to the author's other books upon the Spanish Civil War, this astonishly researched and referenced book is immensely readable and unlikely to be improved upon.
