Keeps paint trays and rollers wet for days...

Good looks, great protection.

(Note: Correction in title, this is not an amp but a surge protection unit with power filtration and isolation.) I currently own a Monster Cable Power Center HTS 1000 II which has been in service for almost 10 years without a glitch. Insert the HTS 3500 and, I hate to admit as a skeptic, the cd and phono sections sounded more focused. Music detail I had not heard before started to emerge, good and bad. The sound stage has widened a bit as well. The low level hum from my old Dual turntable is all but gone. The bass from my Velodyne sub is a little tighter, the impact was immediate. My LED TV doesn't seem to have benefited as much, but maybe the colors are a bit more "true". The analogue voltage meter, which sits in the center of front panel, is very cool at night but is obviously functional. The build quality is sturdy and a nice mix of silver and black, looking like a higher end piece of stereo equipment. I also like the fact that digital, video, analog, and power amp sources are isolated individually and from each other. I have always had good luck with Monster products and, so far, this looks to be no exception. A second identical unit has been ordered and is on the way to my system...
