Ring doorbell 1st gen
4 of 4 found this helpful I bought this early version of the ring doorbell just to see if I would make use of it. I have found it to be really useful when I'm out and about and I get a parcel delivered. I cam tell driver just to leave it in the porch.
On the negative side...I can only run it on battery and in order to get the battery to last more than a couple of weeks, I needed to turn off motion detection and live view. So I can't just log into it and have a look at the view.
Also the recording of anyone ringing the bell is not stored unless you buy the Ring subscription. Therefore if you miss a call you can't see who it was.
Later models have easily removable battery so charging is easy. I have seen much cheaper versions using the To See app which have longer battery life...3to 4 mths AND give you live view AND store the visitors image for free.

Great for ladies.
Well made and fits on the motocaddy handle beautifully. Great for ladies with small wrists as watch strap to big to wear. Wife loves it.
