Works like a champ.
I didn't need the diodes so I removed them and replaced with a wire.
These rerailers are for an elevated/suspended G scale/gauge railroad. Having the rerailers installed gives me a little piece of mind the overpriced locomotives and cars won't jump the track and fall the 8 feet to the hard floor below. Since they are laid upon the metal grid, the plastic base allows for the sound of the rolling wheels to produce noise, but it's a rowdy man cave not a intimate bedroom setting, unless you're into that kind of thing which is another post unrelated to this rerailer review.
Alas, this was a groovy purchase.

Just what I ordered
The punch down board worked like a champ. Very easy to mount and solid installation. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
