Cheap and cheerful, not for heavy duty use.
This plunger was just about ok for the job I needed it to do which was clear some food debris in the trap below the kitchen sink. This was an easy job for it and it actually did it.
Because it is shipped disassembled and with the plunger part compressed it doesn't like to return to its uncompressed state while you're using it. It would be a very messy and unproductive adventure trying to use it on a toilet.
It does create a useable seal at least, so if your need is for a very cheap item that isn't likely to get a lot of use and it's for a kitchen sink or bathroom basin then it'll be OK.
The plunger part is made of plastic rather than rubber, so on one hand it won't perish but on the other you have to pull it back into shape the first few times you use it.

Printer ink.
This is printer ink, it works in my printer, the print quality and coverage is the same as the last cartridge that was in there. It's good value in terms of you won't find it much cheaper anywhere else but it's printer ink, which pound for pound costs more than an equivalent quantity of gold.

Good calligraphy marker.
Ink is good quality dark but doesn't bleed, tip firm enough to retain chisel shape which gives good definition for lettering, the thick and thin are lines are well defined.
Useful for practice if you don't want to mess around with liquid ink or cartridges.
