Will Earth be able to recover from our presence?
A thought-provoking read, it highlights the failure of human civilization to consider its full impact on the planet. It is a salutary tale, and one which should be heeded.
Although this book is undoubtedly well written, as a British person, I found myself irritated by the barrage of Americanisms and "National Geographic" style, hence the 4/5 score. I would, however, definitely recommend reading this book, even to a Brit!
